Sustainable Viticulture

We do our best to use natural growing practices on our farm/vineyard. No insecticides, fungicides, herbicides or other harsh chemicals are used on our farm. Everything we use to feed our animals, grow our grapes, and grow food in our raised bed garden is organic or naturally grown so we know what we are eating. Our cows morning treat is a handful of organically grown alfalfa pellets.

We have a compost pile we handle/work manually to provide good natural nutrients for our vineyard and garden. Our vineyard and pasture fencing was built using black and yellow locust posts – no pressure treated posts on our property.
